Japanese Multinational SVCV Denies Acquiring Min Hee Jin and NewJeans’s Label

SVCV, the Tokyo-based multinational holding company, has formally denied recent speculation suggesting that it has acquired or is in the process of acquiring any labels associated with Min Hee Jin or the K-pop group NewJeans.

In a statement issued by the company, SVCV clarified that it has not entered into any acquisition agreements, negotiations, or partnerships involving Min Hee Jin, NewJeans, or any label affiliated with them.

“SVCV has not acquired, nor is it in discussions to acquire, any label associated with Min Hee Jin or the group NewJeans. Any reports or online speculation suggesting otherwise are inaccurate,” the company stated.

The clarification follows circulating online rumors linking SVCV to potential expansion into additional K-pop entertainment assets. While SVCV has publicly outlined broader ambitions across media, streaming, and entertainment sectors, the company emphasized that no such transaction has taken place.

SVCV operates as a multinational holding company headquartered in Tokyo and oversees various businesses across media, fashion, technology, and financial services.

The company did not provide additional comment beyond its formal denial.
